Qualifications/Professional history
Prior to joining RBC Wealth Management in 2018, Aaron’s broad-based 23 years in the financial industry emphasized helping families transition from building their careers to achieving a successful retirement through income planning strategies at ML Stern and portfolio management at Morgan Stanley Smith Barney. Aaron started his career on the Pacific Stock Exchange Options Floor in 1995 and came full circle at Merrill Lynch in 2010, working with individuals and their families by planning around their stock options to meet their retirement goals.
Education
Aaron graduated from the University of California, Davis, with a Bachelor of Science degree in agricultural and managerial economics. He was a member of the Kappa Sigma Fraternity and started as outside linebacker for the Aggies football team.
Personal
Aaron’s role model growing up was his grandmother, who was one of just a few women to be admitted to Northwestern College in the 1930s and a pioneer for change with the status quo. His dedication to seeing things through has been significant in working with clients, as the foundation of financial services is trust and the ability to advise them during challenging times. Aaron and his family reside in San Francisco, where they enjoy outdoor activities and world traveling. He is an aspiring oenophile with a thirst for educating his palate. In his spare time, he volunteers at various food banks, such as Glide Memorial.
