Experience and qualifications
Prior to joining RBC Wealth Management, I served as a trusted advisor—often, a “right hand”—to business owners, entrepreneurs and executives.
This path developed out of a passion—and a gift—for serving people, developing plans, and executing successful strategies. It’s a natural outgrowth of my formative professional years as a college debate coach, during which time I guided and nurtured championship-caliber debate teams at Dartmouth College, the University of California at Berkeley, and Cornell University.
I passed the General Securities Representative (Series 7) and Registered Investment Advisor Representative (Series 66) exams.
Educational background
I attended Dartmouth College on a National Merit Scholarship, graduating with a B.A. degree in comparative literature. In addition to formal coursework, my college life was devoted to policy debate.
As a debater, I won several national invitational tournaments, reached the “Sweet 16” of the National Debate Tournament three times, and appeared in the NDT’s “Final Four.”
Community involvement
Outside of the office, I serve on The Blake School’s alumni board and on the board of directors for Mount Zion Temple, my spiritual home. I’m also active among Dartmouth’s local alumni community and serve as an admissions ambassador.
About me
I was born and raised in Southwest Minneapolis near three Twin Cities’ treasures: Lake Harriet, Minnehaha Creek, and Washburn Library. You’ll most likely find me bicycling along one of our trails, or with my nose in a novel.
