Ryan graduated from Hofstra University in 2009 with a bachelor’s degree in business and legal studies, then continued his education as a graduate student at LeMoyne College. He was a multi-year member of Hofstra’s Division I men’s lacrosse program, which consistently ranked among the nation’s top teams during his tenure. He also spent one graduate year with LeMoyne’s men’s lacrosse program, helping them reach a national championship appearance
in 2010.
He began his financial services career with UBS in Denver, Colorado, before returning to his hometown of Syracuse, New York, to be closer to family. He is currently a vice president and financial advisor at RBC Wealth Management, where his background and education inform his approach to detailed wealth planning, research and investment strategy implementation.
As a Chartered Retirement Planning CounselorSM and Chartered Retirement Plans SpecialistSM, he has studied pre- and post-retirement needs, wealth management, wealth planning services and the overall retirement planning process. He also provides consulting services for corporate retirement plans, including investment advice and employee education program tailoring.
Ryan is actively involved in his local community, volunteering at multiple food banks to serve and deliver meals to people who are homeless and disadvantaged. He also supports various local programs benefiting those in need, including holiday toy drives. Additionally, he is an active member of the Hofstra University Pride Club for men’s lacrosse and volunteers in Syracuse-area youth sports initiatives.
Outside of work, Ryan enjoys playing hockey and pursuing outdoor activities like fishing and hunting with family and friends.
