Doug’s career began 1991 and prior to RBC Wealth Management, he held positions with Merrill Lynch and Prudential. In 2003, Doug obtained the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ certification and currently manages over $200,000,000 in client assets. Doug is a longtime resident of Cypress, California where he served as a city councilman from 2006 to 2014. He also served as the mayor of Cypress in 2009 and 2012. Doug expresses his passion for building community and strengthening society by previously serving as president of the Boys and Girls Club of Cypress, he remains an active board member. Doug holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in international relations from the University of Southern California, where he competed in varsity debate.  Doug is happily married with three children and two grandchildren. When not in the office, he enjoys playing golf at Old Ranch Country Club, boating on Lake Mead and supporting the University of Southern California football team.
