Joanna joined RBC Wealth Management in 2004 after five years with Wachovia Securities, and brings a combined 24 years of industry experience to her role as Senior Business Associate. For the past 15 years Joanna held the role of Assistant Complex Manager at RBC overseeing 9 offices with over 150 employees. Wanting to reconnect back directly with clients, Joanna shifted gears from a Management role to a support role, by joining the Williams Investment Group where she helps clients grow and protect wealth. She was confident this was the right fit after watching the team’s growth over the past years and their unwavering commitment to their clients. Joanna has received the RBC award of excellence twice in the past 8 years. This is awarded to employees who consistently go beyond expectations and make a significant, positive difference in our business. Joanna attended Plymouth State University where she majored in Psychology and minored in Economics. Joanna has passed her Series 7, 9, 10, 63, 65, 31 exams and Massachusetts Life Insurance licenses.
Outside of the office, Joanna has a strong charitable stripe and enjoys impacting our community for the better. She’s spearheaded numerous local service projects. Joanna led our Boston Complex employees in the annual blue water day project, coordinating the cleanup of the Boston Harbor and surrounding areas. Joanna also organized our year end “Keeping Boston warm” campaign for Action for Boston Community Development and leads a group of 15 women twice a year to serve meals at Rosie’s place. In her downtime, you can find Joanna with her husband and two children boating in the summer and skiing in the winter.
