Shayne became a financial advisor in 2001 out of a desire to assess complex situations and come up with creative solutions to help people achieve their objectives.
He provides personalized service and analysis in the areas of wealth management, investment allocation strategies, liability management, charitable gifting, asset protection through insurance and trust services, retirement planning, estate planning services, and is the team liaison for private and commercial banking. His experience and focus on business succession planning, trust services, and corporate retirement plans help clients coordinate complex situations.
His collaborative approach and leadership with clients, CPAs, and attorneys help clients build strong professional advisor teams. Shayne also holds his life insurance licenses.
In addition to his time spent helping clients, Shayne also focuses on strategy and organization for the Brookhills Investment Group to help ensure that the team is well positioned to provide world class client service for generations to come. Shayne has been named by Forbes in 2022 and 2023 as a Best-in-State Wealth Advisor and to Advisor Hub's "Advisors to Watch" list in 2022 and 2023.
Shayne earned a B.S. Business Administration in Finance and Accounting with honors from Penn State University and is member of the Phi Kappa Phi Honor Society for business. Shayne attended McDaniel College with a major in business management and a minor in economics. Shayne earned the Accredited Wealth Manager (AWM) designation through Michigan State University to allow him to assess and strategize solutions for complex wealth situations. Shayne earned his Certified Exit Planning Adviser designation through the well revered Exit Planning Institute to help business owners and executives navigate and advise on how to improve the three gaps business owners and executives face. Shayne has earned his Certified Plan Fiduciary Adviser through NAPA to help ensure strong fiduciary process for corporate retirement plans.
Shayne has forged many connections in his local community through Music For Everyone, and serving as a member of Four Diamonds Advisory Board Member from 2013 through 2019. His volunteer involvement in the Penn State Children’s Hospital is because of his family’s passion to spread awareness about pediatric cancer. He also supports local high school mini-thons and THON at Penn State through donations, sponsorships, and speaking engagements to benefit Four Diamonds. Shayne is a member of Lancaster Country Club and served as Chairperson of VIP Credential Access for the 2015 U.S. Women’s Open (USGA). Shayne lives in Lancaster, Pennsylvania with his wife and two sons.
