Qualifications
After a successful career in banking that began in 1980, I became a Financial Advisor in 1990. In 1998 I opened the Longview office for RBC Wealth Management and continue as Branch Director today. I focus on earning my clients’ trust by helping them achieve their required returns and investment objectives, while positioning their assets to help minimize risk. The key component of my service is trust. My clients must have confidence that their portfolios are established to help ensure their long-term investment objectives are met. I hold a bachelor’s and master’s degree in business administration from Baylor University. I am a Graduate with Distinction from the Southwestern Graduate School of Banking at Southern Methodist University, and I have completed the Accredited Wealth Management (AWM) program to receive the AWM designation.
Personal
As a native of Longview, my community is very important to me. For the past 30 years I have volunteered with Gregg County Historical Museum, the Longview Symphony League, and the Longview Rotary and Junior Achievement clubs. I’ve served on the boards of the Longview Independent School District, Summit Club, Pinecrest Country Club, and Cherokee Club. I am married with three grown children and I enjoy traveling, running, playing the piano, and visiting my grandchildren.
