Joe has joined his father, Stephen Burt, and long-time friend and mentor,
Brian Adams, at the Burt / Adams Group as a financial advisor. Joe passed
the SIE, Series 7 and 66 exams, holds life and health insurance licenses and
focuses on customized wealth management planning and next generation
personalized solutions. Prior to joining the Burt / Adams Group, Joe gained
valuable experience as an auditor with Forvis Mazars, LLP and primarily
worked with clients in the agriculture and commercial industries. He
graduated from Doane University with a Bachelor of Arts degree and a
double major in business administration and accounting. He was a letter
winner on the varsity men’s basketball team at Doane University.
Joe helps provide a sense of ease and confidence to his clients on their
financial journey. He strives to deliver tailored advice to each of his clients’
individual goals, all while creating a responsive and highly personalized
relationship and experience for them. Whether it is planning for retirement,
managing investments or building a legacy, Joe wants his clients to feel
supported, understood and genuinely cared for every step of the way.
Joe gives back to the community as he sits on the board of directors
for the Pheasants Forever Cornhusker Chapter. Pheasants Forever,
Inc., is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit conservation organization.
In his spare time, Joe enjoys the outdoors, fishing, hunting, golfing,
expanding his cowboy boot collection and spending time with his
friends, family, and his wife, Kiersten. Lastly, he proudly holds the
prestigious title of “funcle” and takes fun uncle duties very seriously.
