Kevin brings decades of experience in managing money for individuals, families, trusts and foundations, primarily through the RBC Portfolio Focus program, an advisory account, where he is a senior portfolio manager.
Kevin grew up in Colorado and earned both a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Colorado and an MBA from Southern Methodist University.
After graduating from college, he joined the management training program at Manufacturers Hanover Trust Company, a money center bank in New York City. This bank eventually merged with JP Morgan. During his time there, he gained a strong foundation in financial analysis as an analyst and bank officer.
In addition to his current position, Kevin has held a wide variety of leadership and management roles, including complex director and branch director with different firms, forging a broad and diverse industry background.
He currently serves as an arbitrator for the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) and is a member of the Society of Colonial Wars in Virginia. Kevin is a past advisory board member of RBC Bank, GA., and a former president of the Virginia Security Industry Association, as well as a past charitable advisor for the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts.
His daughter, Abigail, is a teacher and mother in North Carolina, and his son, Jack, is a U.S. naval officer in the Civil Engineering Corps. In his free time, he enjoys reading, snow skiing and playing golf.
