Jim Carbonell is a seasoned financial advisor with a national client base, guiding individuals and families through the complexities of investment management and wealth planning. With extensive knowledge in portfolio construction, risk management, and customized wealth strategies, Jim takes a disciplined and client-focused approach to helping clients achieve their financial goals.

A graduate of Gettysburg College, Jim further expanded his financial expertise by earning a Master of Business Administration from Penn State University. He holds the titles of Senior Vice President and Senior Portfolio Manager–Portfolio Focus and plays an active role in RBC’s Artificial Intelligence and Advised Accounts Councils, contributing to the firm’s innovation and investment management strategies.

Jim and his wife, Julie, live in Danville, California, and enjoy staying closely connected with their three grown sons—Jack, Will, and Matt—as they thrive in their respective careers. Outside of work, Jim enjoys traveling, staying active through exercise, and giving back through volunteer efforts.
