Qualifications
Carol entered the financial services industry in 1998, forming a partnership with her father. At the time, they were the only father-daughter team at Wachovia Securities. When her father retired after 55 years of service, she decided to join RBC Wealth Management in October 2004. In 2007, Carol earned the firm’s internal, professional designation of Accredited Wealth Manager (AWM) through an education program sponsored by RBC Wealth Management and Michigan State University. Carol has passed the Series 7, 63 and 65 exams and holds multiple insurance licenses in order to offer clients long-term care and life insurance as well as annuity products. Additionally, she served on the board of directors for RBC Wealth Management’s Women’s Association of Financial Advisors for seven years and has also served as a member of RBC Wealth Management’s Fixed Income Leaders Advisory Council for four years.
Personal
Prior to joining the financial services industry, Carol spent 16 years in the pharmaceutical industry and received numerous awards for excellence. She is bi-lingual, having learned French while living overseas for six months as a college student. Carol has also taught adult investing classes at Main Line Night School in the Philadelphia suburbs. For relaxation, she enjoys tennis and traveling the world.
