Qualifications

Chip’s career began in 1987 after graduating from Central Michigan University with a Bachelor of Science degree in business administration. After completing the required coursework at the College of Financial Planning, he received his CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ certification. The multi-year CFP® program entails in-depth courses, training, and comprehensive examinations in all areas of financial planning including investments, taxes, insurance, estate, and retirement planning. Chip is Senior Vice President and an approved portfolio manager through the Portfolio Focus program at RBC Wealth Management in Scottsdale, Arizona. He is also licensed in over 25 other states. Chip was named to the Barron’s Top 1,200 Financial Advisors in 2019, 2020, 2021 and 2022.

Personal

Chip was raised in Michigan but moved to Arizona in 1993. He currently lives in Scottsdale, Arizona, with his children, Anna, Carson and Blake. Chip enjoys traveling with his family and is an avid golfer.
