Oliver is a Senior Vice President – Financial Advisor with RBC Wealth Management. Oliver began his career in 2003 at Ferris Baker Watts and in 2009 RBC Wealth Management acquired Ferris Baker Watts. In that time, Oliver was instrumental in building one of the largest wealth management practices at the firm. In 2015, Judy Ramey retired and transitioned the practice to Oliver to serve as the head of the group's wealth management process. He is well-versed in all aspects of the business, including client portfolio construction, estate planning, retirement planning, insurance and investment management. In December 2016, Oliver became a member of the firm's Chairman's Council, an honor bestowed upon the top 150 financial advisors in the firm. Over the past three years, On Wall Street magazine recognized Oliver as one of the Top 25 Under 40 Financial Advisors in the industry.*
He has passed the Series 7, 66, and 31 exams, and holds life, health, and variable insurance licenses. Oliver attended The Wharton School and Graceland University, where he studied finance and business administration.
Oliver is very active in his local neighborhood and is associated with multiple charitable organizations in the greater DC area he is on the Board of the Alzheimer's Association, and is active on the President's Council of Higher Achievement.
His interests and hobbies include camping/kayaking, home remodel, skiing/snowboarding and cooking for family and friends.
