Robert has devoted more than 30 years to managing his clients’ assets, while focusing on their financial goals and best interests. At RBC Wealth Management, he has honorably been appointed to the Chairman’s Council repeatedly and to the President’s Council.
Robert is currently a member of RBC Wealth Management’s Portfolio Focus Group, which is a select group of financial advisors who have shown a high level of proficiency in constructing portfolios aligned with clients’ goals. Robert implements a disciplined and methodical process of focusing on price and market behavior; he develops diverse portfolios for his clients utilizing appropriate asset classes and securities. He places emphasis on value, and provides guidance as those opportunities change.
Robert started his career after graduating in 1985 from Miami University with a Bachelor of Science degree in finance. After eight years as a financial consultant at Paine Webber, he joined RBC Wealth Management as a senior vice president for 15 years before accepting a managing director position with J.P. Morgan Securities. He made the decision to rejoin RBC Wealth Management in 2015 with the same dedication displayed throughout the duration of his career. Robert passed the Series 7, 63 and 65 securities exams and holds an insurance license.
He and his wife, Kristin, have been married for more than 30 years and live on a farm in Bartonville, Texas. They have two children, Bronwyn and Newt. Robert enjoys running marathons and fly-fishing.
