Andy has over 30 years of experience in the financial services industry. Prior to joining RBC Wealth Management in 2001, he worked at Rauscher Pierce Refsnes, which later merged with RBC Wealth Management. Andy earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in economics from Southern Methodist University, and he holds his Series 3, 7, 8, 63 and 65 licenses.
Andy has been honored as RBC Wealth Management’s Complex Director of the Year in 2007, 2011, 2014, 2015 and 2016, as well as earning the Recruiting & Onboarding Award in 2015 and 2016, Net Revenue Growth Award in 2016, and Diversity Award in 2016. Under Andy’s leadership, the Dallas complex was also presented with the 2008, 2011, 2012, 2014, 2015 and 2016 Outstanding Complex Award, which is awarded to the top complex on their performance in profitability, net revenue growth, net income, and other areas. Andy has also been recognized by OnWallStreet’s Top Leading Branch Managers in 2014 and 2016.
As complex director, Andy has a wide range of duties. He enacts company policy as it pertains to compliance and other key issues, implements marketing strategies, helps recruit financial advisors and supports branch managers by providing training and resources to help new financial advisors be successful.
Andy believes in giving back to the community. He enjoys volunteering and serves on the board at TACA (The Arts Community Alliance) and the executive board of SMU’s Meadows School of The Arts. He has previously served on the board of Shelton School in Dallas and the New York Military Academy.
