David began his career in 1996 under the consulting arm of Arthur Andersen, where he spent several years evaluating financial controls and assisting Fortune 100 companies with complex financial cases for litigation support. As an entrepreneur, he and his partners launched a financial software consulting firm that was subsequently sold to a publicly traded company. Prior to joining RBC Wealth Management he was a member of the executive team for a full-service outsourcing company where he oversaw the organization’s business development, marketing, technology, solution implementation and transitions departments.
David holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accountancy from MacMurray College in Jacksonville, IL where he played Soccer and Tennis and received Adidas All-Midwest Region All-American Scholar Athlete honors in 1994. In 1995 David earned a Master of Accountancy degree from Arizona State University. He holds the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ (CFP®) certification, Life/Health Insurance license, as well as the Series 7 and 66 securities licenses.
Away from the office, David enjoys a busy schedule with his wife and their three boys. David volunteers his time and effort with multiple organizations that introduce children to the outdoors. He is also known as "Coach" by the children on his boys' soccer and baseball teams. David is an Arizona native and enjoys spending time as a family outdoors camping, hiking, or riding dirt bikes.
