Peter provides investment advice to individual and corporate clients, as well as gives guidance on complex wealth management issues to families and individuals. He focuses on helping clients with wealth management, estate planning services and insurance.
Peter earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration and an MBA in finance from the University of Wisconsin–Eau Claire. His credentials also include the Chartered Retirement Planning CounselorSM. Prior to joining RBC Wealth Management in 2025, Peter spent over 38 year at Merrill Lynch.
In the community, Peter directs his philanthropic energies to numerous local and national organizations. He is on the leadership council for the University of Minnesota and a member of the Twin City Dunkers, which provides scholarships to high school student-athletes who excel academically.
Peter also supports the University of Minnesota basketball and golf teams and Coaches vs. Cancer. He is a past president of the Wayzata Country Club as well as the Orono Youth Hockey Association. Peter was on the finance committee of St.Bartholomew Church, and he supports Pay It Forward and Interfaith Outreach. He is also on the president’s council for the Abbott Hospital Foundation and supports other nonprofits.
Peter has three children: Danny, Taylor and McKenna. Away from work, Peter enjoys spending time with his family and friends. He also enjoys playing pickleball, golf and basketball, attending sporting events and fishing.
