As senior branch service manager of the RBC Wealth Management office in
Edina, Jennifer serves as a registered principal overseeing staff and branch
operations, from recruiting and onboarding to training, coaching and resolving
day-to-day challenges as they arise. As a lifelong learner, Jennifer enjoys not
only the ever-changing financial services industry, but the ability at RBC Wealth
Management to mentor others, as she helps them adapt, learn and grow. In
doing so, this promotes a growth mindset and values of the firm.
With over 30 years in the financial services industry, Jennifer brings a holistic
perspective shaped by experience across wealth management, capital
markets and banking. This breadth of knowledge allows her to help teams and
their clients with insight that comes only from seeing the industry through a
diversified lens.
Jennifer holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Minnesota
Duluth and an MBA from the University of St. Thomas. She has also passed
the Series 4, 7, 9, 10, 24, 63 and 65 exams, demonstrating her commitment to
professional excellence and compliance standards.
Originally from Cloquet, Minnesota, Jennifer now calls Edina home. Outside
of work, she loves to travel and is passionate about helping others develop
emotional resilience. She is an author, keynote speaker and host of the podcast
“Emotional Grit.” Interviews about her book titled “Greater Than: The Power
and Strength of Emotional Grit” have been conducted by Emmy Award-winning
journalist Kate Delaney on America Tonight, Minneapolis NBC News affiliate
KARE11 and others as well.
In addition, her message of “the power of perspective and the science that
fuels us” has also been heard at the 2022 ISPNO (International Symposium
Pediatric Neuro-oncology) conference in Hamburg, Germany with the
corresponding abstract published by Oxford Academic. Interviews for her
book and/or podcast include a firefighter who served at Ground Zero on 9/11,
one of the players from the 1980 Olympic “Miracle on Ice” game, a survivor of
the Minneapolis 35W bridge collapse and more. Great reminders that the best
things in life are free.
