Mara is involved in the entire wealth management process and works side-by-side with Frank on developing objective financial solutions tailored to fit clients' specific and ever changing needs. She specializes in RBC WealthPlan to develop and implement these strategies. She works through every aspect of the wealth management approach including asset research, portfolio construction, business development, and client relations.
Mara graduated from The American University, has passed the FINRA Series 7 and 66 exams, and has obtained the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ certification from Georgetown University. The multi-year CFP® program entails in-depth courses, training and comprehensive examinations in all areas of financial planning including investments, taxes, insurance, estate and retirement planning.
To further her financial and analysis knowledge, Mara has successfully obtained her Masters in Business Administration (MBA) from The Robert H. Smith School of Business – University of Maryland. The combination of her security registrations, CFP® and MBA qualifies Mara to give high level advice in the areas of investments, retirement planning, insurance & risk management needs, tax considerations and estate planning.
In her free time, Mara enjoys running, yoga, traveling the world, practicing the Portuguese, Spanish and French languages, and spending time with friends and family. Potomac, MD is where Mara and her husband, Colin, call home.
