Eric joined RBC Wealth Management in April 2023. Before joining RBC, he spent six years at First Republic Investment Management where he developed, implemented and monitored investment portfolios for ultra-high-net-worth individuals, trusts, endowments and foundations. Previously, Eric worked as an analyst at Merrill Lynch for 15 years, where he collaborated with multiple financial advisors who managed over $3 billion in assets. His responsibilities included asset allocation modeling, money manager selection and monitoring, trading and consolidated reporting. Early in his career, Eric served as an analyst at Dorn, Helliesen & Cottle, a pension consulting firm, where he focused on investment reporting and manager due diligence for large pension plans.
Eric earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in economics from the University of California, Berkeley. He has earned the Chartered Financial Analyst® designation and is a member of the CFA Institute and the CFA Society of San Francisco. He lives in San Francisco with his wife and son.
