Gary is a Financial Advisor with over 25 years experience assisting companies and individuals with their retirement plan and wealth management planning needs. Over the course of his career he has worked with numerous employer sponsors in developing and implementing strategies and designs for employee retirement plans. His expertise has aided employers who are just starting up retirement programs to employers with large well established benefit programs. Prior to joining RBC Wealth Management, Gary was with Morgan Stanley and its predecessor firms where he focused his efforts on employer sponsored retirement plans and retirement planning for individual clients. He has developed financial education programs that have been used in local schools as well as with the employees of his retirement plan clients. After completing his MBA at Emory University’s Goizuetta Business School, Gary worked in the Mergers and Acquisitions consulting division of a major global accounting firm where he developed the analysis and valuation skills he uses today to identify risk appropriate investment strategies for his clients. These skills are especially valuable in monitoring and selecting investment choices for his retirement plan clients.
In addition to an MBA from Emory University, Gary earned his BBA Magna Cum Laude from the J. Mack Robinson School of Business at Georgia State University. Gary is also a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ and holds the designation of Chartered Retirement Plans Specialist®.
Gary holds FINRA Securities licenses Series 3, 4, 7, 63 and 65 in addition to Insurance and Annuity licenses.
