Qualifications
Gray has more than 25 years of experience in the financial services industry. He began his career at First Union in Atlanta, Georgia before joining Robinson-Humphrey in Augusta. He ultimately spent approximately 16 years with the firm which would eventually become Morgan Stanley. During his tenure with the firm, he achieved the designation of senior vice president and was included in President’s Club, Century Club, and Blue Chip Council.
Gray was excited to help expand the RBC Wealth Management brand into Augusta when he joined the firm in April 2016. The firm’s focus on client and community connected with Gray and his core beliefs.
He has passed his Series 7, 6, 63 and 65 exams and holds his insurance and variable insurance licenses. Gray is based out of Augusta, Georgia, and also spends time in the Charleston, SC area (Seabrook Island).
Personal
Gray was raised in Augusta before moving to the D.C. area to attend prep school at Episcopal High School in Alexandria, Virginia. He attended the University of Georgia and received a Bachelor of Arts degree in 1996.
Gray is very active in the community serving in leadership roles with causes he is passionate about; improving the lives of children, protecting and enhancing our natural surroundings, and the arts. He served on the board of trustees at Episcopal Day School, and also held the role of vice chair and chair. Gray was also the former chairman of the board of trustees for Trees for Augusta, and served on the Augusta Symphony League. Gray, Elizabeth, and their two children are members of the Church of the Good Shepherd.
