Greg is responsible for WealthPlan development, money manager selection and portfolio review for the team. He believes his loyalty and dedication have directly contributed to helping his clients’ progress toward their long-term goals. Prior to joining RBC Wealth Management in 2020, Greg worked at Wells Fargo Advisors for nearly 13 years. He graduated from Occidental College in 1990 with a Bachelor of Science degree in economics and geology and worked on a master’s degree in mathematical groundwater pollution from the University of the Witwatersrand in Johannesburg, South Africa.
Greg was born in Wimbledon, England, and grew up living all over the world, including Brazil, France, Guinea-Bissau, Kenya and South Africa. His travels were due largely to the career of his mother, Ambassador Melissa Wells, who was Under-Secretary-General to the United Nations in New York in 1993 and had numerous assignments with the U.S. Department of State. Greg’s grandmother, Milza Korjus, was the star of the 1938 MGM film “The Great Waltz” based on the life of Johann Strauss.
Greg lives in Potomac with his wife, Jane, and their three daughters. He is an avid athlete who completed Ironman Florida in 2015 and was a squash pro for many years.
