In his professional life, this passion drives Jason to guide his clients as they navigate their financial journeys of realizing their goals and dreams. His deep care for his clients and burning desire to help people better their lives is what fuels Jason every day.

Jason’s desire to help others in a life-changing way motivated him to leave a career as an actuary to become a financial advisor. He has since utilized the high-level math, statistics and finance skills he developed as an actuary to help individuals and families achieve financial success. He combines professional and life experience, with his Bachelor of Science degree in mathematics from Colorado State University, and his training as a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional and Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor® to provide a holistic, comprehensive approach to advising you. Through a defined process, Jason and his team work to understand what truly matters to you and what you hope to achieve in life. He uses this information to build and implement a plan that enables you to focus on living your life to the fullest, rather than on managing your financial affairs.

One of the founding members of Greyrock Wealth Advisors, Jason’s experience in the financial industry spans more than 20 years. He serves as the team’s managing partner and was named to the 2020, 2022 and 2023 Forbes Best-in-State Wealth Advisor lists, which recognizes some of the top financial advisors from around the country.

Jason is blessed with four amazing sons, who represent his other great passion, his family. Whether they are spending time enjoying the outdoors or sports-related activities, Triston, Llayton, Brady, Silas and Jason always have a great time together. In his free time, Jason also enjoys mentoring youth in the community through coaching, volunteering and supporting several local charities, and has served on the boards of the Poudre School District Foundation, TEAM Fort Collins and CHAMP. Jason loves living in Fort Collins, his hometown, and takes every opportunity to bike, hike, ski and enjoy all the wonderful activities Colorado has to offer.

Lance is passionate about helping his clients work toward achieving what they want out of life. He understands that investing has become increasingly complex over his 20-plus years in the industry, and he derives a great deal of pleasure from educating his clients and helping them navigate the financial universe to achieve their goals.

Over the years, Lance has developed three strong convictions on what it takes to create a successful investment strategy. First, he practices the art of truly understanding each individual client’s unique situation and what is most important in their life. Second, he believes it is essential to work with his clients in creating a financial plan, providing guidance toward reaching their financial and life goals. Third, since life situations and market conditions change, Lance is committed to ongoing communication at regular intervals. This third point, Lance feels, is often overlooked in client and advisor relationships. It plays an essential role in how he sees his role as a client’s trusted advisor.

During the more than two decades that Lance has served as a financial advisor, he has helped clients like you negotiate multiple market cycles. Today, this experience aids him in both anticipating your concerns and staying calm under pressure—two invaluable skills for making sound investment decisions during prosperous and difficult times in the market. As one of the founding members of Greyrock Wealth Advisors, Lance helped build the team with one idea in mind: to provide the best possible client experience to his valued clients like you. Lance is a graduate of Baylor University and the Hankamer School of Business. He began his career in financial services at Edward Jones in 1996, moved to UBS Financial Services in 2001, and joined RBC Wealth Management in 2020. He is the proud father to his son, Cole, who is currently studying agriculture and economics at Colorado State University. In his time away from work, Lance enjoys outdoor activities, travel and spending time with family.

Kyle’s passion to make a difference in the lives of his clients is what drives him. He understands there can be uncertainty in today’s financial world, but strives to gain your loyalty in both strong and weak markets. Kyle believes using a comprehensive approach in creating customized plans for each individual is the most effective way to help you pursue what truly matters.

In 2010, Kyle decided to change his professional life, leaving a successful career path of sales and marketing in college athletics to follow his passion for the financial industry. Recognizing the potential to make people’s lives better through sound advice and investment practices, he accepted a position with Guardian Insurance. He later moved to Merrill Lynch, then UBS, before ultimately joining RBC Wealth Management in 2020. As a member of Greyrock Wealth Advisors, Kyle is able to do what he loves best every day: help his clients gain confidence in their financial affairs.

From an investment standpoint, Kyle believes in the importance of asset allocation and total portfolio management with a focus on retirement income planning. He also specializes in educational funding, deferred compensation plans and estate planning services. By using a proactive approach of asking the right questions, Kyle prioritizes what is most important to you and identifies effective solutions. Finally, by creating a customized plan, Kyle can review progress toward your personal and professional goals, while providing a clear picture of how to get there.

Kyle graduated with a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Fort Lewis College and a master’s degree in sports administration from the University of Northern Colorado. He has passed the Series 7 and 66 securities exams, and holds licenses for life and health insurance, and variable annuities. In 2020, Kyle earned his Certified Plan Fiduciary Advisor designation.

A native of Fort Collins, Kyle enjoys spending time with his family and golfing. He has played in four U.S. amateur golf championships. He and his wife, Tiffany, keep very busy in their free time with their four children: Tyson, Kendall, Brooklyn and Kaylee.

Austin always knew he would find fulfillment from a career of helping others. Coming from a family of educators, he thoroughly enjoys the educational aspect of working with clients to find appropriate solutions in the ever-changing, complex world of finance.

Austin’s deep inner drive and determination have caused him to advance rapidly in his career. After working with Greyrock Wealth Advisors as a college intern for a year, Austin was invited to join the team full time in 2017. The team quickly recognized his value as a person of great integrity, a tireless contributor and someone who cares deeply for the clients he serves. First working as a client service associate, Austin got to know the fundamentals of the financial industry while simultaneously studying for and successfully completing the rigorous training to become a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional. Austin has since exercised his knowledge by preparing and presenting hundreds of wealth plans over several years.

As a financial advisor, Austin derives great satisfaction from helping you create and understand your own customized wealth plan, which he builds as part of a thorough, collaborative effort with you. An invaluable member of the team, Austin is well positioned to dedicate his energy and wealth of knowledge to you and your family for many decades to come, while continuing to draw from the extensive resources that a combined 230 years of team experience can provide.

Austin attended Colorado State University, where he graduated cum laude from the College of Business in three years with a concentration in financial planning. While at CSU, he chaired several committees of his business fraternity, including the Community Service Committee and the Pledge Education Committee. In addition to his CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ certification, Austin holds licenses for life and health insurance as well as annuities, and has passed the industry Series 7 and 66 exams.

A Colorado native, Austin enjoys pushing himself to constantly grow and improve. He has recently taken on the 75 Hard Challenge, a program that promotes mental toughness through discipline. He believes strongly in the importance of giving back to his community, which he achieves through volunteering and leading the children’s ministry at his church. In his free time, he enjoys reading, exercising, spending time with his family and visiting the great outdoors. Austin lives in Frederick with his partner, Ashley, and their great dane, Otis, and golden retriever, Maya.
