Andy has been assisting families in reaching their life goals since leaving the
administration of former President George H.W. Bush in 1993. Interest in finance
and economics was first kindled for Andy while serving on his college endowment
investment committee while acquiring a Master of Science degree in economics at
Oxford University in England.
To further equip him to navigate the complexities of wealth management, Andy
earned the Chartered Financial Analyst® designation — the most globally respected
and difficult-to-attain professional designation in the financial services industry.
Because clients come first, Andy also earned the Accredited Investment Fiduciary®
designation to demonstrate his understanding and ability to put clients’ needs and
goals before his own. The foundation of Andy’s achievement, however, is right here
in Nebraska as a former University of Nebraska-Lincoln summa cum laude graduate,
Regent’s Scholar, Chancellor’s Scholar, member of Innocents (the Chancellor’s
senior honor society) and one of Time magazine’s top 20 college juniors in the
nation for scholastic achievement, leadership and community service.
High achievement has transferred into practice as well for Andy, having been named
a Financial Times Top 400 Financial Advisor in 2015, 2016, 2017 and 2018. He is one
of only three FT Top 400 advisors in the state of Nebraska for 2018.
Running a successful financial services practice requires a tremendous amount of
support, which Andy has from his wife, Lilian, and two daughters, Madeleine and
Vivian. Though Andy grew up near Wood River, Nebraska (on a farm his family
still owns and operates), and Lilian in Buchs, Switzerland (near the Principality of
Liechtenstein), they met in England while Andy was at Oxford. Lilian is a successful
business owner in her own right, as a formally trained florist. They wed in 1996 and
as business owners and members of the local church, they have been positively
impacting people’s lives right here in Omaha ever since. Madeleine will attend UNL
in the fall of 2018, and Vivian is a senior at Westside High School.
