As a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional, James employs a comprehensive approach to wealth management that focuses on helping his clients to meet their objectives with a high degree of trust and integrity. His client base is broad and diverse, ranging from corporate executives and entrepreneurs to lawyers and doctors, as well as professional athletes and retirees. James joined RBC Wealth Management in 2021 to become part of the over 100-year legacy of working with individuals, families, businesses and institutions to deliver services and solutions that help build, preserve and manage wealth.
Clients have unique financial circumstances that require customized attention, and James works closely with their other trusted advisors. This includes attorneys and accountants, to address tax, trust, philanthropic and estate planning service matters. He believes in becoming a true advisor—one who can assist clients in making the decisions appropriate for their current and future goals. Working together requires taking the time necessary to listen and educate each other. This process includes learning about client goals and risk tolerance; and developing strategies for portfolio development, retirement planning, insurance needs, education on financial well-being and tax considerations.

James is a Certified Exit Planning Advisor and a Chartered Retirement Planning CounselorSM who passed the Series 7 and 66 exams and holds life and health insurance licenses. He’s earned an MBA from Villanova University School of Business. At Villanova, James also received a bachelor’s degree and played Division I college baseball.
When not helping clients, James enjoys spending time his wife, Jeanette, and
their four children, James, Carter, Isla and Ava in Phoenixville, Pennsylvania. His
family also spends time at the shore in Longport, New Jersey, where they enjoy
boating and playing on the beach. James coaches youth baseball and football,
teaches religious education to first and second graders, is a member of several
car clubs, and likes to play an occasional round of golf.
