John began his career in 1981 as a trust investment officer managing investments for individual and corporate trust clients of a commercial bank in Louisville, KY. He then moved into the institutional fixed income market working with banks, thrifts and insurance companies. In 1988, John agreed to work for a multibank holding company in Western, KY, managing the investment portfolios, interest rate risk, liquidity, balance sheet pricing and brokerage operations of each bank owned by the corporation. In 2001, John joined AG Edwards, which later became Wells Fargo Advisors.
In October 2021, John joined RBC Wealth Management in Nashville. John graduated from Vanderbilt University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in business and psychology. As a financial advisor, John finds great satisfaction in helping his clients develop plans and strategies to achieve their customized and often sophisticated financial goals and objectives.
