A financial advisor focused on developing close relationships with his clients to better learn their specific goals and objectives, Joe began his career in the financial services industry in 1987. He began at a small over-the-counter trading firm and shortly thereafter accepted an advisor position with Lehman Brothers. Joe moved to Merrill Lynch in 1994 and then to Bear Stearns in 1997, which included a transition to J.P. Morgan through the Bears Stearns J.P. Morgan merger in 2008. He left J.P. Morgan as an executive director in 2022 and joined RBC Wealth Management, where his current role is senior vice president. Joe combines a personalized approach with his experiences to help create high-value asset allocation portfolios and implement managed accounts on a discretionary basis. In addition to having significant product knowledge, Joe can also take a deep dive into company financials when making individual equity and bond recommendations.
Joe graduated from the University of Wisconsin–Madison with a bachelor’s degree in economics in 1986. Since then, he obtained the Accredited Investment Fiduciary® designation and passed the Series 7, 63 and 65 exams. He’s also qualified to serve as a portfolio manager in the RBC Wealth Management Portfolio Focus program.
Joe lives in the Lincoln Park community in Chicago with his wife, who is a successful professional and a great mom to their two children. His hobbies include golf, camping and fishing.
