Julie is a third-generation Montanan, born and raised in Billings. After graduating from Billings West High, she spent a semester in France before earning her Bachelor of Science degree in finance with a French minor from MSU–Billings. After graduating from college, she worked in human resources for 10 years until an opportunity in wealth planning came along in 2004. Julie was a branch manager at Morgan Stanley prior to joining RBC Wealth Management as branch director in 2019. She passed the Series 7, 9, 10 and 66 exams and holds life and health insurance licenses. As a commitment to excellence, she earned her CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® designation in 2011.

Julie and her husband, John, live in Billings (and Powell, Wyoming) with their dogs, Lucy and Roscoe. They have four children and two grandchildren. Julie has served on the Boys and Girls Club Endowment Board and is currently serving on the Education Foundation for the Billings Public Schools Board. In her spare time, Julie enjoys cooking and spending time with family in the great outdoors—skiing, hiking, golfing, biking and traveling.
