Dan graduated from Marquette University in 1985 with a bachelor’s degree in business administration with a finance specialization. He has more than 30 years of experience in helping clients achieve their financial goals and has been with RBC Wealth Management since 1989. As one of a select group of financial advisors named to RBC Wealth Management’s Senior Consulting Group, Dan has been recognized for his achievement in building and maintaining a consultative, fee-based practice. He is also a member of RBC Wealth Management’s Chairman’s Council, a member of the Investment Management Consultants Association (IMCA), and a past member of RBC Wealth Management’s Brokers Advisory Council. Dan has also been recognized by Forbes magazine as one of Wisconsin’s Top Wealth Advisors in both 2020, 2022 and 2023.
In addition to individual client portfolio design and management, Dan assists with education, retirement and estate planning. Whether his clients are changing jobs, contemplating long-term care or ready to draw on their assets, he gathers information about clients’ needs, goals, tax situation, timeline and experience to create individual solutions for these complex issues.
Dan has been married to his wonderful wife, Liz, for 36 years, and they have four children: Ali, Jeff, Matt and Peter. When Dan is not at work, he enjoys golfing, fishing and travel. He is active in various charities, including Journey House, Jesuit Retreat House, St. John Vianney Parish and Guest House.
