Kristin brings both confidence and clarity to the wealth management process. She works closely with clients to design and implement investment portfolios and wealth plans that are firmly centered on each client’s specific principles and goals.
Kristin joined RBC Wealth Management after over a decade of working on Wall Street. Before joining RBC, she was a Vice President in the New York City Sales and Trading divisions at J.P. Morgan and at Morgan Stanley. During her tenure, she developed a deep knowledge of the financial markets and investment strategies - all while consistently delivering strong results for her clients.
A native of the Washington, D.C. area, Kristin graduated from the Holton-Arms School in Bethesda, Maryland. She received her undergraduate degree from Duke University, where she focused her studies on economics and the financial markets. A few years later she returned to the classroom, this time in Philadelphia, to earn her MBA from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
Since graduating from Wharton, Kristin has earned the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNERTM professional designation. The multi-year CFP® program entails in-depth courses, training and comprehensive examinations in all areas of financial planning, including investments, taxes, insurance, estate and retirement planning. Kristin has also passed the Series 7 and 66 exams.
Kristin is a dedicated member of her community and always keen to use her knowledge and skills to give back. She currently serves on the Board of Directors as Vice Chair of the Finance Committee for Wonders Early Learning + Extended Day, a nonprofit provider of accredited early childhood education and extended day programs across the DC Metropolitan region. She has also volunteered as a Thought Partner and Strategy Consultant with Compass Pro Bono, a nonprofit consulting firm that partners volunteers with local nonprofits to provide highly personalized strategy consulting services. Last but not least, Kristin is a member of Many Hands, a women’s grant-making organization.
In addition to being an avid skier and tennis player, Kristin loves to travel. She is a devoted Duke fan who stays connected to campus by co-chairing her Duke reunions and serving on the Board of Duke University’s D.C. Women’s Forum.
