Experience
I began my career in the financial services industry in 1996, gradually accumulating the experience and expertise that shaped who I am and how I operate my business today. I have been with RBC Wealth Management since 2007, providing institutional consulting to 401(k) plans and corporate entities, along with financial and strategic planning to businesses and their employees, as well as private individuals and their families. My business has its foundation in institutional retirement plan consulting, overall benefits consulting and risk management, and multigenerational wealth planning.
I am a member of the RBC Wealth Management President’s Council, the Institutional Consulting Group and hold numerous securities and insurance registrations, along with the Accredited Investment Fiduciary® (AIF®) designation since 2004. I also serve on RBC Wealth Management’s ERISA Advisory Council.

I was raised in the small central Minnesota community of Freeport. I received my Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Minnesota, while also serving in the Minnesota Army National Guard. My wife, Amy, and I reside in Saint Paul with our two wonderful daughters. Outside of the office, my family and I love spending time together enjoying the outdoors, traveling, sports and having fun with family and friends.
