Wendy has more than 20 years of experience in financial services, primarily in banking. She worked for Commerzbank in both New York City and Frankfurt, Germany, where she utilized the German she learned as an exchange student in Hannover. After earning an MBA at London Business School, she joined State Bank of Delano, holding roles as a board member, commercial lender, chief financial officer and president. Wendy focuses on family enterprise matters, including succession and wealth planning. She holds both the Certified Exit Planning Advisor and CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® designations. These credentials reflect her dedication to upholding high industry standards in exit planning and wealth strategy, providing ethical advisory services for business owners and their families. Outside work, she believes in community responsibility. Wendy is active in United Way, economic development initiatives, teaching financial literacy and Junior Achievement. She lives in Delano with her husband, Jake, their three sons and their goldendoodle, Rosie. The family enjoys supporting their boys’ activities, which include basketball, wrestling, football, baseball, track, music and humor.
