Qualifications
Mark began his investment career in Central Pennsylvania in 1993, and has been a licensed financial advisor working with clients for more than 23 years. He holds the Series 7, 63 and 65 securities licenses in several states as well as licenses in life, health and long-term care insurance. In addition to being a financial advisor, Mark is a portfolio manager as part of the Portfolio Focus Group at RBC Wealth Management. He is part of a select group of advisors who manages his own discretionary fee-based portfolios for RBC Wealth Management clients.
Education
Mark graduated from Davidson College in 1993 with a degree in economics. He is also a Chartered Retirement Plans Specialist, earning this degree from the College for Financial Planning in June 2008. With this degree, his business also specializes in managing 401(k) plans for local businesses and retirement income planning for individual households. Mark is currently studying to be an Accredited Investment Fiduciary.
Personal
Born and raised in Central Pennsylvania, Mark has lived in the Hershey area since 1973. He currently resides in Derry Township with his son, Maxwell, and daughter, Savanna. In his free time, Mark enjoys spending time with his children, exercise and reading. For more than 10 years, he has also served on the board of directors of local non-profit organizations that deal specifically with disadvantaged youth. In addition, Mark has coached baseball players from ages five through 13 in the Hershey community since 2009. Through Little League International’s Hershey Chapter and founding the Hershey Centrals Baseball Club, a travel baseball program for children eight through 12, Mark has made strong efforts to further develop local youth baseball skills.
