Jason’s professional journey began in 2001 as an investment analyst at Wells Fargo, providing a solid foundation in market analysis. He then advanced to portfolio manager roles at Marquette Asset Management 2007–2009 and U.S. Trust/Bank of America 2009–2012, honing his portfolio management skills. From 2012 until joining RBC in 2025, he served as managing director of investments at U.S. Bank, demonstrating his ability to navigate and lead in sophisticated financial environments.
His academic credentials complement his professional experience. Jason earned a Bachelor of Science degree in business administration with a focus in finance from Drake University in 2001 and furthered his education with an MBA from the University of St. Thomas in 2007. Jason holds the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® designation, signifying his commitment to the highest standards of wealth planning.
Jason’s primary goal is to provide clients with personalized financial strategies that facilitate the growth, protection and transfer of their wealth. He emphasizes building long-term relationships based on trust, education and proactive advice, empowering clients to feel confident about their financial futures.
Beyond his professional life, Jason is actively involved in his community. He previously served as a Board Member for Avivo, a nonprofit organization dedicated to ending homelessness by providing education, training, mental health and recovery services.
Jason resides in Orono, Minnesota, with his wife, Heather, and their three sons, Davis, Quinn, and Crosby. Their lively household also includes two energetic dogs, Hank and Mack. Outside of work, Jason enjoys spending time on the lake with friends and family and finds relaxation and challenge on the golf course.
