I have been a Financial Advisor with RBC Wealth Management since 1999. My licenses include the Series 7, 63, 65, and State Insurance license. I am licensed to do business in several states. I also hold a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Minnesota – Duluth and am a 2006 graduate of Leadership Duluth. In 2003, 2004 and 2005, I received the Summit Award, given to RBC Wealth Management-trained financial advisors who are in their first five years of business. In 2008, I earned the firm’s internal, professional designation of Accredited Wealth Manager (AWM) through an education program sponsored by RBC Wealth Management and Michigan State University. By attaining the AWM designation, I have demonstrated advanced knowledge of the firm’s wealth management process, concentrating in the areas of business and retirement planning, insurance solutions, charitable giving, advanced investment strategies, and estate and trust planning strategies. I am also a member of RBC Wealth Management's Consulting Group, an exclusive group of advisors recognized for their business success in building consultative, fee-based businesses.
I grew up in Duluth and feel this is a beautiful area to live and raise a family. I currently live here with my wife and two children. Outside of work my interests include golf, hockey, music, and civic organizations. Additionally, I volunteer at local schools, teach trombone, and serve on non-profit Board of Directors.
