Martin is the founder of The Miller-Bowles-Horn Group. Before joining RBC Wealth Management in 2022, Martin spent 23 years with Truist Investment Services, Inc., which was formerly known as Scott & Stringfellow, then BB&T Securities, LLC.
His knowledge and understanding of the realities of the marketplace are broadened by his previous experience as a marketing consultant for a nationally known patent attorney, and as the owner and manager of several businesses. Martin’s primary goal is to help each client identify, achieve and maintain their financial well-being throughout their lifetime. Many times this includes the need for income planning throughout retirement.
Martin holds the designation of Accredited Asset Management SpecialistSM from the College for Financial Planning and the Accredited Investment Fiduciary designation from the Center for Fiduciary Studies. He earned an MBA from the University of Baltimore and a bachelor’s degree in marketing and management from Towson University.
Martin is a member of Congregation Or Ami in Richmond, Virginia. He is also a member of the Jewish Family Services Board of Directors where he holds the additional role of treasurer. He is a 20-year member of Kiwanis. Martin, his wife, Kim, and their daughters live in Midlothian, Virginia.
