Qualifications
With more than 35 years of experience in the financial services industry, Nancy brings seasoned judgment and practical investment wisdom to her clients. She graduated with a bachelor’s degree from Baylor University with a double major in finance and economics. Nancy earned a master’s degree in business administration while working as a graduate assistant, teaching both finance and economics at Baylor University. Nancy passed the Series 7, 63 and 65 exams and holds insurance licenses.
Personal
On a personal note, Nancy continues to pour her heart into making her community the best it can be. She’s called Longview home for more than 40 years and has given her time and talents to many local organizations. Over the years, she’s served as president of the Junior League of Longview, Leadership Longview, the Longview 2020 Forum, the Longview ISD Foundation and, most recently, the Longview Museum of Fine Arts. In 2012, Nancy was honored as a Star Over Longview—a recognition that reflects her deep commitment to the community she loves.
Nancy has also served on the City of Longview’s Planning and Zoning Commission, the board of Longview Regional Medical Center and as the founding president of Longview’s Cultural Arts District, which was officially recognized by the Texas Commission on the Arts in 2019.
These days, Nancy continues to share her passion for the arts as she serves her second term on the board of the Texas Cultural Trust in Austin, where she is secretary of the board. She and her husband, Jud, are proud parents of two grown children and remain active in their church and the Longview community.
