With over 38 years of experience in the financial services industry, I was thrilled to join RBC Wealth Management in April of 2009. I hold a bachelor’s degree from Baylor University with a double major in finance and economics. I went on to earn a Master in Business Administration from Baylor’s Hankamer School of Business while working as a graduate assistant teaching both finance and economics at Baylor. I completed the Advanced Wealth Manager (AWM) Program, a professional designation specifically designed by RBC Wealth Management. This exclusive program builds on the fundamentals of wealth management - our methodology for helping you accumulate, enjoy and transfer your wealth - with a focus on the sophisticated knowledge and skills necessary to gain a deeper understanding of your individual financial objectives and address complex financial needs. I have passed the following securities exams: Series 7, Series 63, and Series 65 as well as an insurance license.
Over the past 36 years in Longview, I have chosen to volunteer my time, effort and money in many ways. I have enjoyed serving in the past as: 1) Treasurer and President of the Junior League of Longview, 2) President of the Gregg County American Heart Association, 3) President of Longview 2020, 4) President of Longview ISD Foundation, and 5) President of Leadership Longview. I was honored to be selected as a "Star Over Longview" in January, 2012. I currently serve on the Planning and Zoning Commission for the City of Longview and as a board member of both Longview Regional Medical Center and Longview Museum of Fine Arts. It was also my pleasure to chair the ARTS!Longview Cultural District. I currently also serve on the Texas Cultural Trust Board in Austin. My husband, Jud, and I have two grown children. We are active members of First Presbyterian Church.
