With over 38 years of experience in the financial services industry, I was thrilled to join RBC Wealth Management in April of 2009. I hold a bachelor’s degree from Baylor University with a double major in finance and economics. I went on to earn a Master in Business Administration from Baylor’s Hankamer School of Business while working as a graduate assistant teaching both finance and economics at Baylor. I completed the Advanced Wealth Manager (AWM) Program, a professional designation specifically designed by RBC Wealth Management. This exclusive program builds on the fundamentals of wealth management - our methodology for helping you accumulate, enjoy and transfer your wealth - with a focus on the sophisticated knowledge and skills necessary to gain a deeper understanding of your individual financial objectives and address complex financial needs. I have passed the following securities exams: Series 7, Series 63, and Series 65 as well as an insurance license.
Volunteering is close to my heart. I choose to volunteer my time, effort and financial resources in many ways. I serve on the board of Longview Regional Medical Center. I was treasurer and president of the Junior League of Longview, as well as president of the Gregg County American Heart Association. In my 30-year history in Longview, I was also past president of both Longview 2020 and Leadership Longview. I am past president of Arts!Longview and of Longview Museum of Fine Arts. I was honored to be selected as a "Star Over Longview" in January, 2012. My husband, Jud, and I have two grown children.
