Professional
I started my career in 1990 with Smith Barney-Morgan Stanley, I was a leader in the service and operations departments at the complex level, focusing on consistency, quality, and efficiency. I have been a member of various advisory groups during my career, where I provided advice for positive change in processes, systems, policies, and client service. In 2018 I partnered with a team as a financial advisor and in 2024 I separated from the team and transitioned to my individual practice within RBC Wealth Management.
In 2009, I earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in business management with a concentration in finance from Eckerd College. I passed the Series 7, 63, 65, and 8 exams and hold the Texas life, accident, and health insurance licenses. In 2019, I successfully completed the Accredited Wealth Management AdvisorSM or AWMA® professional designation program.
In 2021, I earned my CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER ® certification. While this certification is not required for my role at RBC Wealth Management, I pursued it to further enhance my skills and offer an even higher level of service to my clients. I believe the knowledge it provides allows me to better serve you.
To provide context, the CFP® certification involves extensive coursework in areas such as financial planning, tax planning, employee benefits, retirement planning, estate planning, investment management and insurance, culminating in a one-day certification examination. This training and certification, combined with my ongoing collaboration with tax and legal professionals, helps ensure that I can offer you well-rounded advice tailored to your unique situation.
In 2022, I was honored to be selected for RBC Wealth Management’s Portfolio Manager – Portfolio Focus Group. This prestigious designation is reserved for advisors who have demonstrated a high level of success in building discretionary portfolio management practices. My inclusion in this group reflects my commitment to designing and managing portfolios that meet the individual needs of my clients.
