Jeff began his financial career in 1979 with Dean Witter Reynolds in Portsmouth, New Hampshire. He started the Portsmouth branch of Tucker Anthony in 1993 as investment manager and branch manager. Tucker Anthony began doing business under the RBC Wealth Management name in 2002. He has been a member of RBC Wealth Management’s President’s Council and Director’s Council.
Jeff earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Dartmouth College and an MBA in business and economics from the Peter T. Paul School of Business and Economics at the University of New Hampshire. Jeff is also a graduate of the Investment Management Program at Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania. In 1983, after completing the extensive curriculum required, he earned the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ certification. All CFP® candidates take extensive coursework in financial planning, tax planning, employee benefits, retirement planning, estate planning, investment management and insurance. Jeff is required to fulfill continuing education requirements for his professional certification, which helps keep him current on new investment strategies and trends in the financial industry. He passed the Series 7, 9, 10, 24, 63 and 65 exams and is licensed in life, accident, health and long-term care insurance.
Born and raised in the New England area, Jeff lives in Hampton with his wife, Kathy. He enjoys spending time with their children, hiking, reading, golfing, skiing, playing pickleball and traveling. He serves on the finance committee for the Gundalow Company of Portsmouth. The Gundalow Company’s mission is to protect the Piscataqua Region’s maritime heritage and environment through education and action.
