Background

Alex’s approach to financial advising is rooted in the belief that money represents not just wealth but the sacrifices and hard work of his clients.  He is dedicated to honoring these sacrifices by providing thoughtful financial guidance and enjoys building a wealth plan that outlines the unique needs of each family as they plan for and enter retirement. 

Alex began his career in the financial industry at UBS in 2006, holding positions within corporate cash and private wealth management, and joined RBC Wealth Management in 2009. Alex completed a six-month overseas assignment with the Royal Bank of Canada (Channel Islands) Limited in St. Helier, Jersey in 2012, where he partnered with private bankers and corporate trustees to provide lending solutions to their clients.  Prior to joining The Paulson Holman Gatto Group in 2024, he spearheaded the collaborative efforts of RBC’s estate planning, insurance, banking and capital market engagements and worked closely with RBC’s leadership team to drive awareness and adoption of new technologies, product platforms, investment strategies and services for financial advisors throughout the Midwest.

Alex received his Bachelor of Science from DePaul University in commerce and finance.   He and his wife Lauren reside in Wheaton, Illinois with their three daughters. 

Team role

Alex is a financial advisor and provides financial advisory solutions to high-net worth families.  Alex is also our team business manager and serves as chief operating officer overseeing the operational procedures to continually improve the client experience.
