Sandy Pegram began his career in the financial industry over 35 years ago at Kidder Peabody & Co. Following the firm's acquisition, he joined Alex Brown & Sons as a principal in their private client group. Throughout the 1990s, he worked at boutique wealth management firms Hambrecht & Quist and Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette. As the boutique sector consolidated, he transitioned to UBS Financial and subsequently Merrill Lynch. In July 2020, Sandy returned to an emerging boutique practice at RBC Wealth Management, where he is more closely connected with the firm, enabling him to provide his clients with enhanced, more intimate service. His practice at RBC focuses on helping families implement long-term strategies for managing and eventually transferring wealth.
Sandy holds a BA in history from Hobart College and resides in Little Compton, RI with his wife, Beth, and their dog, Skylar. He has three grown sons and enjoys skiing, playing golf, and fly fishing with them.
