Rachel has joined the Pier View Group as an associate financial advisor, working alongside Reva Shakkottai in Manhattan Beach, CA. A Palos Verdes native herself, Rachel is excited about providing invaluable guidance and her experience to clients in the South Bay and beyond.
Rachel started her career in capital markets, working at RBC Capital Markets in New York as an investment banker. After nearly four years, she moved back to the West Coast, where she worked in asset management strategy, as well as in various corporate sales and business development functions. Rachel has a deep passion for serving clients and is excited to be back at RBC to launch her private wealth business. Rachel graduated from UC Berkeley with a Bachelor of Arts degree in international political economy and received an MBA from the Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan.
Rachel is an avid equestrian rider and showjumper. Having ridden horses since she was six years old, she now trains clients at Maverick Farms and Elvenstar stables. Rachel is passionate about fitness and also teaches classes at The Bar Method studios in Palos Verdes and Hermosa Beach. She loves her Golden retriever, Sugar, and cat, Beau. She enjoys spending her free time traveling or with family and friends. On the weekends, when she is not watching Formula 1, you can find her trying new restaurants or exploring around town!
