Randon began as an intern for RBC Global Asset Management in June 2023 and was hired full-time January 1, 2024. Previously, he worked in the business world helping his family’s company, Dauman Electric. From working in the field as an electrical apprentice to shaking hands in the office as an administrator and serving as a marketing director, Randon was exposed to business dynamics at a young age. During his sophomore year of college, he founded the nonprofit Next of Can. In addition to leading the charitable organization that helps underprivileged athletes, Randon has handled the budgeting, accounting, funding and distributions. Randon has chosen a career in the financial services industry to help people achieve their financial dreams and overcome the many stressors that may be associated with finances.
Randon passed the SIE, Series 7 and 66 exams and holds life and health insurance licenses. He earned an associate degree from Triton College and a bachelor’s degree from the University of Minnesota. During college, Randon played DI baseball and was the first ballplayer in history to win the Gopher Teammate of the Year award consecutively for his ability to bring unity among a vast group of individuals, manage dynamics and expect excellence in the direction of the best interests for the team.
Randon was born into a hard-working, small business owning family that instilled in him the values of God, family and community. In his limited free time, Randon loves catching up with his parents, grilling, hunting and fishing. As a lifelong learner/self-challenger, his current hobby is training and competing in Spartan races.
