Reggie has called the financial services industry his career home for over 20 years. As a financial advisor, he works with individuals and business owners—helping them navigate their wealth management and retirement planning concerns with a thorough, but common-sense approach.
Reggie was introduced to the financial markets when he was in fifth grade by his father, an avid investor who taught himself to trade stocks in the late 1960s. With guidance from his father, Reggie began making investment decisions in his own custodial brokerage account, which led him to start a career in finance. Reggie attended Mount St. Mary’s University, where he received a Bachelor of Science in business administration.
Community service is a high priority for Reggie. He is a commissioner on the Maryland Commission on African American History and Culture (MCAAHC), appointed by Governor Larry Hogan in 2017, and a commissioner on the Maryland Semiquincentennial Commission (Maryland 250). Reggie is also co-founder and chair of the Western Maryland Community Development Corporation (WMCDC), which has successfully advocated for the historically Black Jonathan Street community in Washington County, Maryland, and garnered over $5 million for revitalization and economic development in the past two years.
Reggie is a recent graduate of Leadership Maryland (2021) and a board member of the Meritus Healthcare Foundation, Leadership Maryland and the Robert W. Johnson Community Center. He is also the host of The Flipside, a weekly local TV show on Antietam Cable, Channel 30. The show highlights national and local affairs.
Reggie is originally from Appomattox, Virginia, but has been a long-time resident of Hagerstown, Maryland, where he and his wife, Stacie, live. They have three daughters and a son, Emoni, Kayla, Sidney and Reggie Jr. When he is not busy keeping up with his younger daughter’s activities, Reggie enjoys playing golf. The family loves to plan unique vacations around each sport’s traveling team locale. Reggie is a Washington Commanders fan and has a love for University of Virginia athletics, and he has pushed his family to adopt those teams as well—with varying degrees of success!
