Personal

I grew up in Dallas, but did my undergraduate work at Tulane University in New Orleans, where I graduated with honors and a double major in finance and legal studies of business. I went on to earn a master’s degree in education at the University of Kansas, and having played varsity baseball at both schools, I then signed a professional contract to play baseball for the Cleveland Indians. After spending parts of two seasons in the Indians’ minor league system, I decided my real future was in the investment business. I began my second career as a financial advisor with Morgan Keegan & Co. in 2007 before moving my practice to RBC Wealth Management in 2011. My wife, Betsey, and I live in Dallas with our two young children, Mila and Ford. I currently serve on the board of trustees for The Outdoors Tomorrow Foundation, which is the nation’s leading provider of in-school outdoor education with more than 80,000 kids per year enrolled in our “Outdoor Adventures” class in 800+ schools across 45 states. When I’m not working, you’ll most likely find me in the great outdoors with family and friends or on the golf course.

He also provides comprehensive education, guidance and support to financial advisors and clients facing issues that may not have affected them while growing their assets. Robert's goal is to minimize risk faced by retirees and help with choices affecting them during retirement.

Tom Nagle

Trust Consultant

Tom specializes in collaborating with RBC Wealth Management financial advisors to deliver trust solutions to high-net-worth individuals and families as part of a holistic wealth management planning solution. His overall goal is to enhance and support client-advisor relationships as well as to identify trust solutions that both optimize opportunities and mitigate risks.

Michael Clark

Insurance and Annuity Consultant

As part of his responsibilities, Michael assists RBC Wealth Management financial advisors uncover opportunities to use annuities with their clients. Michael provides consultation on current annuity contracts that clients are holding either through RBC or other firms, and also gives product recommendations based on clients’ goals and objectives. He assists financial advisors in analyzing clients’ risk tolerance and investment/income goals, and choosing appropriate annuity products and strategies to best align with client goals.

Megan Mayer

Divisional Retirement Plan Consultant

As part of her responsibilities, Megan does extensive research into retirement plan providers. She also assists RBC Wealth Management financial advisors in servicing clients’ retirement plans. She is involved in the creation and maintenance of investment policy statements, investment monitoring, plan design and portfolio consulting.
