I switched to the financial services industry in 2003 because I wanted to focus on assisting individuals and families. My previous career was in managing divisions within a corporation. I started as a trust officer with the corporate trust group at LaSalle National Bank, then as vice president for the corporate trust group with Harris National Bank. I also had positions as director and division head for the Midwest with Bank of New York, vice president and wealth advisor with BMO Harris Bank and vice president and wealth management advisor with Merrill Lynch.
My degrees are a Bachelor of Arts in economics from Hobert College in Geneva, New York and an MBA in finance from Depaul University Kellstadt Graduate School of Management. I earned the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ designation, passed the Series 7 and 66 exams, and hold life, disability, accident and long-term care insurance licenses.
Outside of the office, I am a former president and active member with Lake County Estate Planning Council. I have three children, reside in Vernon Hills and am an avid golfer.
