Qualifications
I graduated from Loyola College (Maryland) in 1985 with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree, majoring in accounting, and have been assisting clients with their financial matters ever since.
The first stage of my professional career was spent at a regional accounting firm where I earned the Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation. In 1997, I joined PaineWebber (now UBS Financial Services) where I remained until arriving at RBC Wealth Management in 2009. In that same year, even though I no longer practice in the field of public accounting, I earned the Personal Financial Specialist (PFS) credential awarded by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA). I am a current member of the AICPA and the Maryland Association of Certified Public Accountants (MACPA).
Personal
Born and raised in the Baltimore area, I currently live in Parkton with my wife and our three children. I am a 1981 graduate of Calvert Hall College High School. I enjoy being active in the community coaching youth sports in which my children participate and volunteering as a team leader for RBC's Blue Water Project. Other interests include fly fishing, golf, and most anything else involving the outdoors.
