Matt began his investment career in 1997 at the corporate office of Robert W. Baird in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, where he served for seven years prior to moving to Rockford, Illinois. Matt specializes in working with corporate executives within the retail sector. His knowledge includes advising on corporate benefits specific to clients’ respective companies, including stock options, restricted stock, deferred compensation and 401(k) plans. Matt earned a bachelor’s degree in finance from the University of Iowa. He has passed the Series 7, 9, 10, 63 and 65 securities exams, and holds insurance and annuities licenses. He is also a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional.

In 2021, Matt was named Branch Director for RBC’s Rockford, IL branch.

Matt has been named to the RBC Wealth Management President’s Council since 2016. In 2022, Matt was named to RBC Wealth Management Chairman's Council. The Chairman's Council honor is awarded annually and recognizes financial advisors for their outstanding performance and professional growth, and demonstrating leadership in client service.

Matt lives in Belvidere and is married to his high school sweetheart, Natalie. They have three children: Madeline, Nathan and Addyson. Matt is an active member of Holy Family Catholic Church and Boylan Catholic High School. He is also a board member for the Workforce Connection in Rockford and a regular blood donor. Matt enjoys spending time with his family and an occasional cigar and bourbon.

Virgie began her career in the financial industry in 1994. She spent many years in retail banking as a licensed banker and branch manager. Prior to joining RBC Wealth Management, Virgie worked in the trust department of a regional bank in Rockford as a portfolio manager. While at the regional bank, she earned the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ designation and became a lead financial planner while continuing in her role as portfolio manager. She earned her bachelor’s degree in financial management from Upper Iowa University, graduating Cum Laude Meritum and is currently a CFA Level II candidate.

She joined RBC Wealth Management in December 2020. She has passed the Series 7 and 66 securities licenses and also holds a license in life and health insurance. Virgie is well-versed in comprehensive wealth planning and managing client investment portfolios. Active in her community, Virgie has served on the board of the Red Cross of Rock River Valley and the Big Brothers Big Sisters organization. She also participated in the governance committee for the Family Peace Center in Rockford.

Virgie graduated from Belvidere High School and lives in Poplar Grove with her husband, Brandon and her dog, Bruce. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her husband and running races that benefit local non-profit organizations on the weekends.

Lori has been in the financial industry for 25 years. Prior to joining RBC Wealth Management, she worked as a personal banker for a regional bank for 13 years. Lori is a graduate of Boylan Catholic High School and she earned an associate degree from Rock Valley College. She also attended Northern Illinois University majoring in Finance. She stays active in the community by participating in The United Way. Lori lives in Belvidere, IL with her husband Matt and their daughter Brooklyne. In her spare time, she enjoys traveling, spending time with her family, and attending her daughter’s sporting events which include cheer, soccer and ice skating.
